Harvest Moon // Autumn Tunes

Did you know that the harvest moon got its name from the extra light, and thus time, it would give farmers for harvesting crops during the days surrounding an autumnal full moon? I didn’t either. So there’s your fun fact for the day.

Being asked to play for an event once is cool. Being invited to come again the following year is awesome! We love building connections with people and bringing music that they love to their events.

Earlier this month, we got to be the soundtrack for a Harvest Moon Open house at Two’s Company Antiques. It was a beautiful evening with sunset rays finding there way into the yard; kids in overalls and aprons served the guests that came to enjoy the music and walk through the shop. The shop was a cozy nest of spiced scents, twinkling lights, and friendly conversation. Just outside that, we had our set-up with a stage, our little merch table, and our aunt’s lovely artwork on a chalkboard.

Overall, it was just a great time mingling with people and playing some of our favorite music. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and faithfully clapped even when we were just the background music. You’re the real MVP.

Looking forward to seeing you at our next show!
